DIABETES SUPPORT GROUP
The Diabetes Support Group will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, June 14, at 7:00 PM in the First Floor Conference Room at Clearfield Hospital.
The Diabetes Support Group is designed as a resource for individuals with Diabetes and their families.

DIABETES EDUCATION CLASSES
The Clearfield Hospital will present a series of two Diabetes Classes monthly. Topics included are: definitions and terms, medications, laboratory testing and self monitoring, foot & skin care, high and low blood sugars, foot care, sick day management, stress, complications, dietary management, and ongoing self-care/management.
All persons with Diabetes and a friend/family member are invited to attend the classes. Attendee participation is encouraged. Persons who have attended previous classes are welcome to attend to learn about new advances in the management of Diabetes. The classes are presented as a public service by Clearfield Hospital and there are no charges for the classes or literature.
Classes will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, June 9 2010, and Wednesday, June 16, 2010. For more information about the classes or to register, please call the Clearfield Hospital Education Department at 768-2345.
Registration is required to attend.
OSTOMY SUPPORT GROUP
The Ostomy Patient Support Group sponsored by Clearfield Hospital’s Home Health Program, will meet on Tuesday, June 1, at 6:30 PM, at 438 West Front Street in Clearfield.
The Ostomy Support Group was formed to provide information, support and education to those people who have intestinal or urinary diversions. As an Ostomate, you may want to share your experience with others. Family members are always welcome.

BRI’S ANGELS CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
Bri’s Angels, Clearfield’s Cancer Support Group, will meet Thursday, June 10, from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM, in the First Floor Conference Room of Clearfield Hospital.
The support group is comprised of area cancer survivors, residents currently undergoing treatment, family members and close friends. The purpose of the group is to offer families, friends and patients support, help when needed, and to lend an ear when someone needs to talk. New members are always welcome.

“HOPE IS ALIVE” CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
The Nathaniel D. Yingling, M.D., Cancer Center’s Cancer Support Group, “Hope Is Alive,” will be held each Monday at 2:15 PM in the Cancer Center for cancer patients of the NDYCC, their caregivers and family members.
