Courtney D. Johnson-McKissick, D.P.M.

Clearfield native Courtney D. Johnson-McKissick, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, recently joined the medical staff of Clearfield Hospital.

 

Dr. Johnson-McKissick specializes in foot and ankle disorders in patients of all ages, including foot and ankle surgery, diabetic foot care, wound care and foot and ankle injuries.

After graduating from Clearfield Area High School in 1997, Dr. Johnson-McKissick received a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, and then earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.

She completed a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Mercy Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident during her third year.

Also during her residency, she completed medical rotations in plastic surgery, infectious diseases, vascular surgery, family practice, endocrinology, pathology, anesthesia, orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine and radiology.

Dr. Johnson-McKissick is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard A. Johnson of Clearfield. She is married to Dr. Matthew McKissick, who plans to establish a dental practice in the community.

Dr. Johnson-McKissick’s office is located in the Clearfield Professional Group Building, 820 Turnpike Ave., Clearfield.
