The Clearfield Foundation for Health recently approved the release of $600,000 for the Nathaniel D. Yingling, M.D., Cancer Center, located on the Clearfield Hospital campus. The two-story, 20,000-square-foot facility, which is nearing completion, will house Clearfield Hospital’s medical oncology program, and provide a new service, radiation oncology, through a partnership with Hahne Regional Cancer Center of DuBois Regional Medical Center. The total cost of the building is estimated at $3.6 million. The center was one of five funding priorities identified during the Heart of Our Valley capital campaign, which was led by C. Alan and Judith Walker. The Clearfield Foundation for Health and Clearfield Hospital thank the community for its generosity. |
