Clearfield Home Health and Hospice personnel are available for public speaking engagements. Educating the public about home health issues is the goal of community education programs provided by Clearfield Hospital Home Health and Hospice.
“Our team is very interested in speaking to community, civic and church groups, as well as businesses, about the numerous services and support programs we offer. Improving the health of the communities we serve is important to us,” stated Ame Wagner, registered nurse, director of home health and hospice. Among the presentations available are:
Presentations are free of charge and may be arranged by contacting Deborah Bowers, systems coordinator, at 768-2004. Programs may be tailored to meet the needs and interests of the audience. Other outreach programs provided by Clearfield Hospital Home Health and Hospice include the Coping with Loss and ostomy support groups, flu shot clinics every fall and free monthly blood pressure clinics throughout the agency’s service area.
