The 2007 Clearfield Hospital Hospice Chili Bowl was the most successful one to date, raising more than $31,000 for hospice patients. This year’s theme was Viva Las Vegas. Matt Greenland’s team won third place in the spirit category and first place in humanitarian jar donations, raising $6,094.53 for hospice. The 2007 Clearfield Hospital Hospice Chili Bowl was the most successful one to date, raising more than $31,000 for hospice patients.
“Our deepest appreciation goes out to all of the individuals, Clearfield Hospital departments, hospice volunteers, organizations and businesses for donations of baskets, money, needed items and services. The support shown has been tremendous,” stated Dana Wilson, hospice volunteer coordinator and event organizer. Ms. Wilson said that in addition to the money raised from the theme-basket ticket sales, butterfly release, t-shirt sales and food and games, this year marked the highest amount raised in humanitarian jar donations.
