A cancer support group meeting will take place Thursday, Feb. 7, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Nathaniel D. Yingling, M.D., Cancer Center, located at 815 Doctors’ Drive on the Clearfield Hospital campus.

Guest speaker for the evening will be Dr. Joseph Pedersen, radiation oncologist for the NDYCC.

The support group is comprised of area cancer survivors, residents currently undergoing treatment, family members and close friends. The purpose of the group is to offer families, friends and patients support, help when needed and to lend an ear when someone needs to talk. New members are always welcomed.
