___________________________________________________________________ Requirements: Completion of verified program in Rehabilitation (Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, appropriate therapy assistant programs) approved by the American Medical Association and the appropriate American Therapy Association (APTA, AOTA) required. Valid registration and licensure as a therapist/assistant with the state of Pennsylvania required. Must meet applicable Federal, State and Local Laws and Regulations. Previous experience preferred. Must possess knowledge of care and use of equipment within the department. Basic knowledge of other departments of the hospital preferred. BLS required. Learning Time: Ninety (90) days. New graduate employees need at least 90 days of close supervision before job can be performed at acceptable level. Therapists with experience will, however, require less, but 90 days is minimum. Therapist must often work independently. On occasion, therapist must drive to remote areas (home health coverage). Shift: Days Casual Department / Location: Rehab The staff therapist works in close conjunction with the Director of Rehabilitation aiding in the efficient coordination of the department programming. The therapist treats patients according to specified prescription and protocol in any of the variety of treatment methods available. Directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance, facilitates those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity, diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health.
___________________________________________________________________ Requirements: Requires completion of verified program in OT approved by the AMA and the American Occupational Therapy Association and current license in state of PA. Knowledge of care and use of equipment used to treat patients in their homes preferred. One (1) to two (2) years post-graduate clinical experience preferred. Requires ability to move and lift patients (lifting of 50 pounds); simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation. Must be able to adapt to temperature changes, different home environments and driving long distances in all types of weather conditions. Shift: Days Part-time Temporary Department / Location: Home Health The OT is responsible for the overall care rendered to occupational therapy patients in the home health department. The OT works in conjunction with physicians, Home Health staff including nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, RT’s, HHA’s and community agencies as needed. Supervises the occupational therapy assistant. Assists the physician in establishing the plan of treatment.

Shift: Days Full or Part-time Department / Location: Home Health BS degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school of Physical Therapy required. Current Licensure in the state of PA. Knowledge of care and use of equipment used to treat patients in their home. One (1) to two (2) years clinical experience preferred.

Ability to work with patients, doctors, nursing staff and families to provide optimal levels of patient care required. Ability to exercise independent judgement required. Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm Part-time Department / Location: Surg/Peds A staff nurse is a professional Registered Nurse who provides quality nursing care to patients in accordance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures established standards, and administrative policies of Clearfield Hospital and Nursing Division. He/She is responsible for the administration of direct and indirect patient centered nursing care using nursing judgements based on the nursing process, scientific principles and nurse practice act. Responsible for planning, directing, controlling, observing and performing of nursing care to meet patient care needs and provide physicians with optimal service. Confers and completes daily patient rounds with attending and/or consulting physician.
