Come join the fun!
Clearfield Hospice will sponsor the 11th Annual Chili Bowl Cook-off on Thursday September 18, 2008 from 5:00PM-9:00PM. This year's theme is the 50's. Admission is free!

Chili Bowl 2008 will be held at the Clearfield Driving Park, in the Expo II Building, just off Route 322/153 Mill Road Exit, Clearfield.

All profits from this red-hot event will help hospice patients & families with expenses not covered by insurance.

This is an event that provides loads of fun and activity for the whole family and the community. There will be planned and supervised children's activities, live entertainment, and MORE!

Participation is easy, and can be done in one of three ways:

  • Enter the Cook-Off
This is the most fun! If you have a mean chili, enter it!
The registration fee is only $25.00.
  • Sponsor a Cook
If you can't cook yourself, we will find a cook to represent you.
  • Consider a Donation
Donate to Hospice in the amount of your choice.
Make checks payable to Clearfield Hospice Chili Bowl and mail to:

    Clearfield Hospice
    P.O. Box 992
    Clearfield, PA 16830

Winners from the contest are determined by an illustrious panel of judges and plaques will be awarded at the end of the evening. If your chili doesn't place you still have a chance to win by trying for other awards:

  • Artistic Award (best presentation)
  • Spirit Award (most enthusiastic)
  • Humanitarian Award (the coveted award for raising the most money for hospice-you may start collecting now to try and win this award)

This event is well attended and provides great media exposure to the participants.

Anyone interested in sponsoring this event may contact Dana Wilson, Hospice Event Coordinator.
