| Healthy Beginnings Plus is an innovative prenatal program, which takes a positive, proactive role in ensuring a healthy baby and mother. Healthy Beginnings Plus is sponsored through the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, and is available to assist low income, pregnant women, who are eligible for Medical Assistance. The goal of the program is to give expectant mothers a positive prenatal experience and to help them reduce the risk of delivering early.
Registration for the program is easy. Simply call Healthy Beginnings at 768-2148. It is important to sign up for Healthy Beginnings as soon as possible. The earlier in the pregnancy you register, the sooner benefits begin for you and your baby. Healthy Beginnings Plus is located in the Medical Arts Building, Suite 220, Clearfield Hospital. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Emergencies after hours and on weekends are handled by the Obstetrics Department.
