The Hospital’s full service, 24-hour Laboratory, under the direction of a Pathologist, offers inpatient and outpatient testing performed by a staff of Certified Medical Laboratory Technologists, Technicians and Phlebotomists. Laboratory services include the facility’s Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis and Anatomic Pathology Departments.

The Laboratory is equipped to collect urine drug screen specimens according to Federal and other regulations for area employers.

Also available is the Laboratory Blood Bank Department, where autologous and directed blood donations for elective surgical patients are received in conjunction with the American Red Cross.

Outpatients are encouraged to visit the Laboratory for specimen collection during the hours of 7 AM - 7 PM. Appointments are not necessary.
