Peri-Operative Suite (In-Patient Surgery)
The Peri-Operative Suite is located on the Third Floor of the Hospital and includes the Anesthesiology Department, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Operating Rooms and Central Sterile processing. These units are staffed with experienced, highly trained Physicians, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, Peri-Operative Registered Nurses, Post Anesthesia Registered Nurses, Certified Surgical Technicians and Certified Central Sterile Technicians. A full range of inpatient and outpatient procedures is performed using the most up-to-date equipment available.

Specialties available include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular Surgery and Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery. Personnel are available 24 hours a day for scheduled and/or emergency surgeries.

Ambulatory Care Unit (Same-day Surgery)
The Ambulatory Care Unit is located on the Third Floor of the Hospital’s North Wing. Whenever advisable, surgical patients are admitted and discharged on the same day through the Ambulatory Care Unit.

In addition to surgery, many other services are available in the ACU, such as, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy procedure, Urodynamics (an innovative urologic diagnostic procedure), upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, blood transfusions, and many other services needed by our patients.
