Clearfield Hospital Non-Discrimination Policy
It is the policy of the Clearfield Hospital to admit and to treat all patients without regard to race, color, religious creed, national origin, sex, sexual preference, disability or age. The same requirements for admission are applied to all, and the patients are assigned within the hospital in accordance with their medical needs, and without regard to race, color, religious creed, national origin, sex, sexual preference, disability or age.
There is no distinction in eligibility for, or in the manner of providing, any patient service provided by or through the hospital. All facilities of the hospital are available without distinction to all patients and visitors, regardless of race, color, religious creed, national origin, sex, sexual preference, disability or age. All persons and organizations that have occasion either to refer patients for admission or recommend the Clearfield Hospital are advised to do so based on medical needs, and without regard to the patient’s race, color, religious creed, national origin, sex, sexual preference, disability or age.
This admissions policy adheres to the provisions and underlying regulations of such laws as Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the public accommodation provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of 1955. This includes, in particular, applicable regulations of the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare.
