PHILIPSBURG – Family practice physician Cara Dellegrotti, D.O., recently joined Clearfield Hospital’s medical staff.
Dr. Dellegrotti practices at Clear-Med Primary Care – Philipsburg, located in the Peebles Plaza, Philipsburg.
She earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and was recognized for academic achievement as a Dean’s Scholar. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology (honors graduate) from the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Dellegrotti completed a Family Medicine Residency, serving as Chief Resident, at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown. She is board certified in family medicine.
In 2010, she received two awards from Penn State Hershey Medical Students: the Exceptional Teacher Award and the Exceptional Role Model Award.
She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
Dr. Dellegrotti joins Gloria Zibilich, M.D., and Jim McCliment, physician assistant-certified, at the Philipsburg clinic.
Rita V. Olszewski, administrator, Clear-Med Provider Corp., said the hospital family is pleased to welcome Dr. Dellegrotti to its medical staff.
